I am starting this blog for a few reasons:
- Most importantly, I have a beautiful baby boy named Gavin Dean who is already ONE year and FIVE months old and I am starting to forget many important details from the past amazing year and I want to hold on to each memory and cherish them forever!
- I have been reading different blogs for about 6 months now and I love reading about different peoples lives and experiences. I have gotten some great tips and advice from other mommas out there!
- We are planning on making baby #2 very soon and I want to document this next pregnancy so that I can remember for myself and show my little lovies one day when even more of my brain is gone! (Yes, Gav stole part of my brain..but he's pretty cute so I'll let it slide.)
- I am sharing a first grade teaching contract again for a second year and get to stay home half time with my little guy so I have (a little more) free time.
- Finally, (my favorite reason): The other night my hubs Jeff and I were watching one of our shows, Modern Family when we saw the cutest commercial about this dad who created an email address for his baby boy. He sent pictures to the address and documented fun moments and events from his life. The idea is for the boy to obtain the password to the email account when he is old enough and then he can read about his life from his dad's perspective. I almost cried (especially when he sent one email saying "Dear Tommy, You are going to be a big brother!!" I thought that idea was the CUTEST ever! But a blog is way more fun than just an email address so...here we go! Life is crazy these days and I really hope I can keep up keep with it!
