Halloween & a lil Pumpkin

This Halloween was the BEST. We got to carve and paint pumpkins, dress up our lil man, have friends and family over for trick or treating and a bbq, and thanks to Aunt Ryann~ we also painted some CUTE bootie cheeks. Best. Halloween. Ever:)

Gavin & Rylie

 Sooo MUCH fun!

Gav was hilarious when we took him to his first house. He handed the Kit Kat back to our neighbor Mike, blabbering to him (he wanted Mike to open it). He started to tense up and cry when we put the piece of candy in his bag. Hahah..he wanted every piece right then and there for each house we went to. He was so cute and Rylie was even cuter saying, "Trickers or Treats" when each new door would open. Melted our hearts.

Cutest monkey ever. He kept saying "ooh, oooh, oooh." and surprisingly he kept his monkey head on the whole night!! We were so excited because the practice runs didn't go as well. hah!

Then...a few days later on November 4th I found out that we will be adding a new lil pumpkin to the Martin family!!

:)

We are SOOOO excited! I took the test and when "pregnant" popped up I said "Yessssssss, Thank you God!!" I had to leave for work since it was Friday, so I left the test on the counter with a note to husband that said, "Can't you just see me with (another) baby on the way??" Those are some lyrics from our wedding song Then, by Brad Paisley. He was so happy and sent me some funny and sweet texts when he got the message. I love that guy. "Good work babe..we're a little P!" haha

Since I had a miscarriage a little over two months ago, we are very nervous and want to wait to tell our families. Last time we told everyone right away and then I miscarried and had to talk to everyone about it A LOT and it made it harder. I have been feeling pretty good with this little bun, except today I have been super nauseous. Gavin and I make choc. chip cookies for the first time and I was so dizzy/almost puking the whole time:)

We go next Wednesday (Nov. 23rd) for our first ultrasound to make sure everything is progressing the way it should. I will be 6 weeks and 6 days so we should see a strong heartbeat for sure. I actually miscarried a set of twins, so we are anxious to find out how many are in there this time around. "They" say that our chances go up to 80% for having another set. Saaaaaay What??? omg. That would be crazy. Right now we are just praying for a healthy heart and for the little bun to stick in there really tight!  Gavin Dean is going to be a big brother!! We are so excited.
Hubs took this belly shot the day after I took the positive pregnancy test:) I want to have before, during, and after pics to look at this time around. Yay for Baby Martin #2!! We love you so much already!  See you next Wednesday baby bun <3
